Originally established under the name “PT PLN Geothermal”

PT PLN Geothermal ceased the operations

PT PLN Geothermal changed name into PT PLN Gas & Geothermal in line with the addition of a new portfolio or new business activities in the field of gas infrastructure.

Completion of 2 (two) mega projects:

• The 48.3km Tanjung Batu Gas Pipeline Project with 16” pipes in Samarinda; and
• Sulawesi FSRU Project for the gasification of the Karadeniz Powership Zeynep Sultan 120 MG chartered power plant (LMVPP) in Amurang.

• Assignment of the Amurang Floating Storage & Regasification Unit (FSRU) to the Marisa Gorontalo Gas-Fired Power Plant;
• Implementation of the first Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program in Tanjung Batu, namely Klulut Bee Farming and Maggot Farming;
• Successfully recorded operating revenue of Rp422.17 billion;
• Net income for the current year was recorded at Rp47.98 billion; and
• Organizational performance was valued at Rp104.90 billion.

• Signing of Memorandum of Understanding on a Cooperation Plan for the Utilization of the Harbour TUG LNG Vessel with PT Jawa Satu Power;
• Signing of Memorandum of Understanding with PT PLN Nusantara Power; and
• Announcement of the Long-Term Agreement for Tanjung Batu Gas Pipeline

The Company name changed from PT PLN Gas & Geothermal into PT PLN Energi Gas.

Signing of the EPC Agreement for the Construction of Regasification Facility in Tarakan between PT PLN Energi Gas and PT PLN Nusantara Power Construction.

• PLN Energi Gas Successfully Completed the Commissioning and Gas-In at the Tarakan LNG Storage and Regasification Facility
• Won the 3rd Place in the 2024 Annual Report Award (ARA) in the Non-Publicly Traded State-Owned Enterprise category with revenue of less than Rp1 trillion, a recognition of the quality of information disclosure, the implementation of good corporate governance (GCG), and the accountability of the Company’s sustainability performance reporting.
